Vacation #5 - Sand Hollow and Deer Valley

After our fun filled vacation in San Diego, we were only in Cedar for a couple days before we headed back out on more adventures, which include my 2 favorite places in the whole world - the lake and the mountain!

Our first stop was Sand Hollow where we spent 2 days, which included having a Bulloch BBQ with all my dad's family.
Before we left, B had to put on his "fire" tattoo to match my dad's race truck which has flames going down it

Waiting to load up and leave Cedar

Packing up the Prowler and heading to the beach

Rylee, Bladen and Zoe could not stop splashing water and throwing mud at each other!

B using his life jacket for the 1st time... he did pretty good!

Marley was so content just playing in the sand with herself

Bladen was so excited to see Uncle Nick that he biffed it in the sand while running to him. Every crack and crevis was filled with sand.

Lindsey, Zoe and Marley headed down again on the second day to get some more playing time in. The kids play so good together.

Mmmm... coke and lake water mixed
After 2 sweltering hot and windy days at the lake, we headed to Cedar for a shower and go to the grand opening of the Lake on the Hill before heading to Deer Valley on Cedar Mountain.
Cedar definately needed something like the Lake on the Hill and the new Rec Center!

Mr. B is obsessed with collecting sticks in his 4-wheeler. Right after this picture him and Nana unloaded the wood into the fire and left his wheeler parked right next to the fire because it wasn't going yet. Little did they know that the fire was still hot and next thing we knew my dad goes to check on the fire and B's wheeler was bring melted. Luckily it still goes and hopefully I will just be able to get a new tire for it. He was devistated!

The 4 beauties... this is off the subject but before we left for San Diego, my dad had Bladen with him down at the Fab shop. Bladen was playing with Buck and the next thing my dad hears is Buck crying. Bladen had slammed his foot in the door, which required surgery the day we left for California. I'm surprised B didn't get his butt kicked for hurting my dad's baby, but he told my dad it was an accident and my dad told me the only reason he didn't kick his butt is because it was Bladen. It's pathetic, in a good way, how much my Dad loves Bladen and vice-versus. No one else matters when them two are together!

Our home for 4 consecutive days
The dogs needed a bath so we headed to Navajo Lake.

I have NEVER seen Navajo Lake as full as it was. The both sides of the damn were covered with water - it was so pretty up there!
